Sourav Gangully’s health stable after angioplasty at Kolkata hospital

Sourav Ganguly suffered a mild heart attack, condition stable now

BCCI president and former National Cricketer, Sourav Ganguly had suffered from a mild heart attack on Saturday and had to undergo angioplasty for the same. He was admitted to the Woodland hospital and The doctors have stated that his condition is now ‘stable’ and are keeping ‘constant vigil’ on his health.

Dr. Saroj Mondal said, “Ganguly was diagnosed with three blocked coronary arteries after which a stent was inserted in one to remove the blockage”. Apt measures are being taken to ensure Gangully recovers as soon as possible. He would be under observation for the next few days.

His wife Dona Ganguly and elder brother Snehasis Ganguly were at the hospital with him. Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee had also tweeted wishing him a speedy recovery. Along with several other cricketers also showered their prayers and wishes for Dada. Sachin Tendulkar, Virendra Sehwag, Ajinkya Rahane, Mohmmad Kaif, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli were among many others who gave their best wishes through Twitter.
