One and a half years after the lockdown due to Covid19, the government of Maharashtra has now allowed retailers and merchants to reopen until 10:00 pm, they have finally breathed a sigh of relief. Instead of closing the shutters before 4:00 pm, they are now allowed to stay open for a longer duration. Because of this, the sales have increased significantly as well.

The restrictions on shopping malls, schools, and colleges have not been lifted yet. But individual traders, shopkeepers, and restauranteurs are allowed to function for longer hours. The possibility of an upcoming third wave has troubled them though and are at a worry of being jeopardized again.
