Maharashtra may see another lockdown within ten days if cases won’t stop rising.

Chief Minister Udhhav Thackeray has asked people to take precautions to avoid it.

In a briefing yesterday, Udhhav Thackeray has warned people to follow all the covid protocols or another lockdown may be imposed in the state. Maharashtra was seeing a steady rise in cases since the month of February and to control the warning CM has given people a stern warning to wear masks and if the rising cases continue a lockdown would be imposed in the next ten days.

CM has also stated that the lockdown would be gradual in nature, and will take place one step and a time, and would not be sudden. As of now, a night curfew has been imposed in the state, and two districts, Amravati and Akola have already been put into a week-long lockdown. He has referred to the situation in Maharashtra as ‘serious’ with a fresh wave of infectionsand has asked people to decide their fate whether to control the spread or to be a part of the lockdown.
