Maharashtra may consider a 4 to 6 day lockdown from April 3

Rising cases have led to speculations that the state might go under another lockdown soon

Rising cases and the number of deaths have instilled fear In the minds of citizens. The CM of the state, Udhhav Thackeray, has constantly hinted towards the lockdown and has suggested a complete shutdown if the numbers do not showcase a satisfying result. Several political leaders have voiced their opinions against the lockdown from different political parties such as Congress, Bjp, etc.

Although an official announcement is awaiting, sources suggest that the lockdown would be announced on April 2nd or 3rd. And it would last for a limited period of 4 to 6 days. This was also discussed in the emergency meeting on Sunday with the state’s Covid taskforce.
