India’s former PM and Janata Dal (Secular) leader Devegowda had tweeted stating – “My wife Chennamma and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are self-isolating along with other family members. I request all those who came in contact with us over the last few days to get themselves tested. I request party workers and well-wishers not to panic”.

The rapid rise in the number of cases in India due to the second wave of the corona virus is concerning. As of 29th March, India had 56,211 new cases and the 7-day average was 58,437. While the total stands at 12.1 Million cases.
