In the last 24 hours, around 23,500 cases were reported in Delhi. While the number of cases all over India is seeing a huge spike as every day goes by, taking strict measures has become important for all states. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has announced a complete lockdown throughout Delhi till 26th April via a virtual live session. He has also specified that the lockdown would be a short one and will not be extended for a long duration. The CM has also ensured people that the government would take care of its citizens in these difficult times.
The lockdown shall allow the government to arrange more facilities such as beds, oxygen, medicine, etc. During the lockdown, essential services, food services, and delivery services will continue to function.
